The ITSA is holding its first sanctioned event at Makaha Beach this year as part of Bradah Mel's Surf Contest! This is sure to be an exciting event at the surf break where tandem surfing has been homegrown for decades as part of the Hawaiian waterman legacy. Expect challenging surf conditions for our teams as they brave the winter swells and attempt some of the most difficult tandem lifts in the world.
